Plus, I’ve received more compliments on this bag than any other. Because of this feature, it’s the only sling I’ve ever tested that doesn’t slide around while running or flip over my head when I bend down to tie my shoe. Its two-liter capacity lets me pack all the small essentials-on a recent ski trip it carried my lunch, a snack, beanie, sunglasses, sunscreen stick, wallet, and ChapStick-but my favorite feature is the hidden cross strap that can be deployed to secure the pack to my body when it’s in over-the-shoulder mode. This distress was warranted, though, as it had become my go-to carryall for a variety of activities, including skiing, hiking, and running, both on the trails and during errands around town. That’s what happened with this sling from Janji: I went into a state of panic when I couldn’t locate it this winter (spoiler alert: I had just left it at my parents’ house). You know you love a product if you’re devastated when you lose it. Janji Multipass Sling Bag ($50) (Photo: Courtesy Janji) Here’s what the Outside crew used to enjoy the shift in seasons. The days grow longer, buds emerge on trees, and the rays warm our skin-and every year it’s just as sweet. Wandrd d1 fanny pack.Spring comes annually due to the tilt of our planet and the way that it orbits the sun. This is another one that seems pretty great as far as size and organization. Tom bihn sidekick and side effect don't carry the way I want There are no reviews, the main compartment seems tiny like it has not volume. A little too small seems like a weird design that might not function well. I like the look and simplicity, but too smallĮmber tks sling. It looks like it is annoying to access though, I don't like that the Zipper opening is smaller than the pocket and the self compression seems to be more of a hindrance to most people. I love the look of this, the simple organization and latch. I like the look of this one, but it's a little too small height wise to hold what I need.īellroy sling or mini sling. Can't be worn comfortably as a fanny packĪer city sling. Both seem like they would be a good size, but I don't need the security and I think I will get annoyed Not being able to just undo the buckle easily.Īer day sling 2.

Pacsafe venture safe x hip pack or vibe 100 hip pack. I want to be able to throw it in a suitcase if I want to and I don't think I can do that with this bag, please let me know if I'm wrong. I actually like pretty much every about this bag except for how heavy and boxy it is.

Peaks design everyday sling 3l (maybe 6l, but it looks a little big). I need to be able to wear my daughter on my back and the bag as a fanny pack.

Other requirements are that it can be worn comfortably as both a sling and a hip pack, sometimes I wear my daughter (or future baby). Kids eddy camelbak water bottle and extra pants for toddler but only if there is room with out making the pack too big. Phone(note 20) keys, small wallet, jabra earbuds. It will need to hold :ġ-2 diapers that measure approximately 9x5 in I mainly want to use to carry very minimal stuff for my toddler and me when we're just doing a quick run to the store or park. I don't want anything to feminine, but I also don't want it to be huge or have tons of molle all over it. I have done lots of research and nothing seems exactly right so far. I am in the market for a sling/ fanny pack and have some pretty specific requirements.
